Questions

Frequently Asked

We will explore how to address the real pains of organisations and teams and how we as facilitators, trainers, and coaches can create deeper, more sustainable impact.

An excellent alternative to "typical" conferences. Open Space Technology was created by Harrison Owen in the mid-1980s, after noticing that the best conversations at conferences often happened during coffee breaks.

So instead of forcing a fixed agenda, participants create the agenda themselves and work on the topics they really care about.

It is still not as well-known as it should be, because it brings exactly what many events are missing: real dialogue, ownership, collective intelligence, and honest exchange.

No specific expertise is required. The bootcamp is designed for anyone working across cultures who wants to develop their transcultural competence. Whether you're new to the field or a seasoned practitioner, the Open Space format ensures every participant both learns and contributes.
Your registration includes full access to both days (Friday evening and Saturday full day), coffee breaks, a pre-event networking session, all facilitated sessions, workshop materials, and post-event follow-up resources. Accommodation and travel are not included.
The bootcamp takes place in Gava Mar, a seaside area just 20 minutes south of Barcelona. The exact venue details will be shared upon registration. It's easily accessible by train (Renfe) from Barcelona city center.
The bootcamp will be conducted primarily in English, as it brings together an international group of participants. However, given the diverse backgrounds of attendees, multilingual exchanges are welcomed during small group sessions.
Contact us at hello@diversityinnovation.academy and we'll be happy to help you decide.
